2026 NAIDOC Week events

Proudly supported by the Queensland Government

These events represent just a selection of more than 60 community celebrations supported by the Queensland Government through NAIDOC grants.

A wide range of community-led events were supported, celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Events include family fun days, cultural workshops, markets, performances and sporting activities, creating opportunities for communities to come together, learn and connect. Most are open to everyone and are designed to be welcoming, inclusive and engaging for people of all ages, helping to build understanding, pride and respect while showcasing the richness and diversity of First Nations cultures.
