NAIDOC Week: 50 Years of Deadly

NAIDOC Week, held each July, has been a cornerstone of Australian life for 50 years, celebrating the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year's theme, 50 Years of Deadly, honours five decades of cultural pride, resilience and achievement. The Queensland Government marks this milestone with its NAIDOC Grants program, providing funding to communities across Queensland to host events, performances, workshops and cultural activities—because NAIDOC belongs to all Queenslanders.
