Remote Indigenous Land and Infrastructure Program Office
The Program Office provides government with a 'one stop shop' in addressing land administration issues along with whole-of-government coordination of all infrastructure development within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander discrete communities.

Welfare reform
The department has a key role in supporting the Family Responsibilities Commission which supports families and individuals to improve their lives by re-building social norms and re-establishing local authority for Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islander people living in Welfare Reform communities.
