Multicultural Policy and Action Plan
The Queensland Government's Multicultural Policy promotes an inclusive, harmonious and united Queensland.
The fourth Queensland Multicultural Action Plan was released in 2024.
Public reporting on action plan
The Multicultural Recognition Act 2016 requires all government agencies to report publicly on their actions in the plan and provide a summary of their progress every year.
The Department of Women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships and Multiculturalism 2024-25 annual report outlines progress against actions set out in the action plan.
Agencies have now prepared annual reports for the 2024-25 reporting year.
