October is the time to celebrate Indigenous Business Month – a significant initiative inviting all Queenslanders to back Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned businesses across the state.
This year’s theme, Strength through Collaboration, highlights the power of partnerships in building success.
From Brisbane to Cairns and beyond, Queenslanders can connect with and champion exceptional businesses that enrich Queensland’s economy and culture.

- 21 October 2025, Cairns | Indigenous Small Business Connect – networking, displays and mentoring sessions
- 22 October 2025, Bundaberg | Bundaberg Indigenous Business Month – business health checks and networking
- 27 October 2025, Eight Mile Plains | Indigenous Workforce Connect – keynotes and networking
- 29 October 2025, online | One Business: Indigenous Business Month Meet-the-Suppliers 2025 – businesses will have 3 minutes to ‘pitch’ their unique products or service
- 30 October 2025, Chinchilla | 2025 Indigenous Business Expo – showcase and networking
