The Department of Women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships and Multiculturalism is embarking on an ambitious agenda to strengthen programs and deliver improved outcomes across Queensland and is seeking an exceptional leader to take on the role of Executive Director, Regional Implementation.

This Senior Executive Service position offers a unique opportunity to lead transformative programs and services across the state, improving education, housing, health and economic outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The successful candidate will oversee statewide service delivery across 16 regional offices, strengthen collaboration with government and community partners and ensure delivery aligns with key priorities to achieve measurable and lasting impact.

The department is looking for a confident leader with a proven track record in managing large, and geographically dispersed operations, achieving strategic outcomes and driving innovation. Strong communication skills, exceptional stakeholder engagement and a deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are essential.

This role represents a strong entry point into senior government leadership, offering the opportunity to shape and advance the department’s agenda to raise living standards in communities, drive impactful programs, and deliver meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
