Women’s Economic Security Survey now open

Women across Queensland can shape their economic future by sharing their feedback through a new online survey.

The Queensland Government is calling on women and girls to participate in a statewide consultation to help create the state’s first-ever Women’s Economic Security Strategy (WESS). Your voice matters.

The Women’s Economic Security Survey is now open and runs until February 2026, inviting feedback and ideas from:

  • Queensland women and girls aged 16 and over
  • Queensland peak bodies, industry groups, community groups or organisations.

Why your voice matters

When women’s finances are secure, and they have a choice, they can pursue their ambition to achieve their best lives.

By taking part in this survey, you’ll play a vital role in shaping a strategy that aims to improve outcomes for women and girls across Queensland in key areas such as:

  • Health
  • Housing
  • Safety
  • Education
  • Employment.
