For more than 50 years, Supply Nation accredited Promo Gear has helped organisations strengthen their brands through high-quality promotional products and merchandise solutions. Since taking ownership of the Brisbane-based business in 2015, Jagera man David Hulett has continued to grow the company while embedding a strong focus on relationships, sustainability and customer service.
With more than 25 years of experience in branding and product procurement, David recognised the opportunity to build on Promo Gear's strong foundations while creating a business that delivers meaningful value for clients. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its reach across Australia and internationally, working with businesses, government agencies and organisations to provide promotional products that support brand recognition and engagement.
"Our focus is on understanding our clients' goals and helping them find the right solution for their audience," David said.
From branded merchandise and event collateral to corporate gifts and promotional campaigns, Promo Gear works closely with customers to deliver products that align with their objectives, budget and values.
A key part of the company's approach is its commitment to sustainable and ethical sourcing. David and his team actively seek products and suppliers that support environmentally responsible practices, helping clients make informed choices while reducing waste.
Beyond commercial success, Promo Gear is committed to supporting communities through its Community Support Program, providing sponsorship, in-kind donations and other assistance to grassroots initiatives and Indigenous-led organisations.
Today, Promo Gear continues to demonstrate the capability, professionalism and innovation that Indigenous businesses bring to Queensland's economy. Through strong relationships, quality service and a commitment to giving back, the business is helping organisations build stronger connections with their customers while creating positive outcomes for communities.
